Just caught All-American Rejects live in action and completely submerged in their element at the MTV World Stage 2009 performance!! I have always been a huge AAR follower and fan of their music ever since I was in form 3!
When nobody knew them and me and Sebrina were singing "Swing Swing" in class whenever we were bored or amused by the song!! (It was undoubtedly addictive) I loved them almost instantly...with Tyson's school boy high pitched swaying and uniquely interesting melodious voice...the band's air guitar riffs and guitar hero worthy licks! It wasn't hard to get a badminton racket and start jumping on your bed singing and "jamming" air guitar style, head banging to their catchy, ever bosteruous tunes with fun endearing lyrics!! I was the perfect summer soundtrack and something just to have fun with... :) (I have done my fair share of air guitar antics and head banging - completely feeling like a Rockstar!)
You can say one thing, they are definitely a FIRST of their kind...in terms of vocals and sounds used and emphasized on their records. they signature imprinted in our musical minds for life! who else had their heartbreak driven songs about lost love and moving on, and had their boyish rebel charm and Tyson's wicked facial expressions!! ;)

I love the video cause it is sooo touching and completely diverse from what their other projects and vids portrayed or embodied. very nice job!! I heart AAR! ROCK ON.
